(formerly CMAC) - Business Development Created a group of structured MI risk/revenue sharing transactions 4 years with E&Y (formerly Ernst & Whinney) CPAs -- Audit Senior covering various clients including Banking and Real Estate firms.
My Philosophy
While mortgage banking continues to evolve and become more regulated and automated, this is and will always remain a high-touch, relationship-oriented business -- a business based on the "5 Ps," yes 5: Products, Pricing, Process are a given, but then you need People and Passion! I bring more than 25 years of Mortgage Banking experience, and with that comes all the commensurate technical skills and diversified knowledge. But skills and experience alone don't equal success in this very competitive yet close-knit community. It's my compassion and empathy for serving the people working every day, in all the various functions within my clients 'shops', working hard to process, underwrite and close loans. It's my passion to go that 'extra mile' to find the unique solutions that best fit my clients' needs, to find the products and programs to expand their markets, the pricing to maximize their revenue, and the customer service and operational efficiencies to minimize their costs, maximize their warehouse turn times and ultimately maximize their bottom line!

Interests
NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament (a Duke-e, no surprise here!) Competitive Doubles Tennis NASCAR fan (mostly because I was both Team Owner & Crew for my Son's short-lived career as a Bandolero racer at Atlanta Motor Speedway) Almost 2 decades coaching baseball & fast pitch softball (ask me about my Daughter's 11 years 'on the road') Good food, better wine, best friends Politics and Public Policy

Volunteering in various organizations, including Habitat for Humanity, Help the Homeless, Women and Children's Shelters and Food Pantry.

Their R.I.S.E. program (Restoring Independence Supporting Empowerment), builds specially adapted smart homes for America’s most severely wounded defenders, veterans, and first responders.


The Mortgage Bankers Association's Opens Doors Foundation and its Home Grant Program provides mortgage and rental payment assistance to families with critically ill or injured children, allowing families to be by a child's side during treatment.


The Cancer Support Community San Francisco Bay Area’s mission is to provide holistic integrative care services, free of charge, to individuals affected by cancer. This network of support can increase chances of survival while reducing chances of recurrence and ultimately provide for the highest possible quality of life.
