Greensboro, NC – CMG Financial, a well-capitalized, privately held mortgage-banking firm headquartered in San Ramon, CA, announces the opening of the new Greensboro, NC branch, led by branch manager Michael Buckhannon. Michael has over two decades of mortgage leadership experience and has spent most of his career in the North Carolina area. Michael’s extensive experience and regional connections will serve him well with hiring and staffing for the new branch.

Michael Buckhannon has held numerous branch manager and market manager positions throughout his career. Previously, he worked as a branch manager at Sterling Lending Corporation, as a branch manager and associate vice president at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, and as a branch manager at PNC. Most recently, he served as market manager at Gateway Bank Mortgage and then market manager at Movement Mortgage. Michael has an innate ability to lead branches and develop top-producing loan officers.
