The Federal Housing Administration (FHA) announced this week its loan limits for 2016.

 

No counties will receive loan limit decreases but 188 counties will see the limit increase due to home prices in those areas. For many “high cost” areas in the nation, the FHA loan limit will be set at $625,500 while “low cost” areas will remain at $271,050.
